DK’s Top 10 Places to Eat in Columbia Valley
Full disclosure – there are so many more than ten great places to check out. These are just the ones that offer a great menu and sit-down dining year-round that my family, friends, and I frequent.
- The Station Pub – Located in the heart of Invermere overlooking Lake Windermere and James Chabot beach. It is your traditional pub menu with daily specials. www.StationPub.com
- Birchwood – Also located in the heart of Invermere, on 13th Street. Very quaint, fine dining experience, with patio in the summer. Daily dinner specials. www.BirchwoodInvermere.com
- ULLR Bar – Next door to Birchwood. Excellent selection of Appies, sharing is caring with this delicious selection of food. The Crispy Chicken is like no other. www.ULLRbar.com
- Elements at Copper Point Resort – located on Hwy 93/95 near the Invermere Turnoff. A resort atmosphere, lounge, big summer deck, views, and entertainment on weekends. I love the pork bite appy, and kale Caesar salad is the main dish. www.copperpointresort.com/dine
- The View at Copper Point Golf Course – right across the highway from the Resort – go here for the Tuna and Avocado salad…yummy, PEI mussels and awesome Burgers as well as the patio and picture-perfect views. www.copperpointgolf.com/dine
- Traders Lounge & Rustica Steak House at Eagle Ranch Golf Course – Located on the edge of Invermere. The best view in all the valley is here. Great place for a cocktail and casual dining or a fantastic steak dinner. www.eagleranchresort.com
- Cliffhanger Restaurant at Greywolf Golf Course – located at Panorama Golf course. Surrounded by picturesque views of the mountains. Open year-round and has a great appetizer menu and fine dining experience. www.greywolfgolf.com/cliffhanger-restaurant
- Fubuki Sushi – located in Athalmer as you enter Invermere. Excellent fresh sushi with a great menu and love their lunch box special that changes daily and includes: soup, roll, salad, dumplings. www.fubukisushi.com
- Rocky River Grill – located on Hwy 93/95 just before you turn off to Invermere. It has daily drink and dinner specials in its lounge and Wing night Wednesdays. An extensive menu with a good salad selection is known for having one of the best breakfasts in the valley. www.rockyrivergrill.com
- Elevations Dining at Radium Springs Golf Course – Located at the Springs Golf course in Radium Hot Springs overlooking the Columbia Wetlands. Beautiful views, nice deck, and trying the Messy Chips (just as they sound).
