In reply to Andre for Directly’s post on April 2, Hi Andre, Thanks for your response. Is it the same for servicing stack update? If the cumulative update detects you already installed some of the updates included, its not gonna install the updates again, only the ones you are missing.
Yes, the cumulative updates installs updates you are missing and new ones. Servicing Stacks are normally installed in preparation for a new new Feature Update. You normally get them closer to release. They normally include fixes to facilitate a successful installation. We might see one in the coming weeks for the upcoming Windows 10 update.
